Toblach is an ideal starting point for all sorts of Alpine sports. While skiing in Dobbiaco and in Alta Pusteria you can choose between three wonderful skiing areas in the midst of the Dolomites: Sextner Dolomites/Alta Pusteria, Cortina and Kronplatz.

The Dolomiti Superski skipass gives you access to these and much more – a total of 1,200 kilometres of pistes in 12 skiing regions, giving you the unforgettable experience of skiing in the world’s largest ski carousel. For families and beginners we particularly recommend the slopes outside our front door: ski centre Rienz, the Helm, Rotwand and Haunold.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING & BIATHLON IN ALTA PUSTERIA
Cross-country skiing in Alta Pusteria means fun! Surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Dolomites, here you can enjoy theDolomitiNordicSki network of over 1,000 km of trails – snow guaranteed.
Toblach itself, with its FIS-approved trails, floodlit night-time skiing opportunities and the new Nordic Arena is not only the finest starting point for cross-country tours of all kinds, but is also especially popular as a venue for international World Cup races. Biathlon fans too will be delighted to learn that the Antholz Valley, host to the Biathlon World Cup, is just a few minutes away by car.
Convivial and fun for all the family: tobogganing is simply part of the winter experience. The land of the Drei Zinnen offers fast downhill runs and sunny, child-friendly slopes.
In Toblach you shoulder your sledge for the uphill climb then zoom down the Ratsberg toboggan run, while Innichen and Sexten have cabin and chair lifts to whisk enthusiasts up to the top. All children and youngsters up to the age of 14 must wear a helmet when using the toboggan runs in the Upper Puster Valley.
WINTER WALKS & SNOWSHOE EXCURSIONS
Anyone who has walked through the wonderful mountain world of the Dolomites in winter, far away from the hustle and bustle of the ski resorts, knows the meaning of peace and the deep attachment to nature.
There are innumerable routes over the beautiful snowy landscape. With or without snowshoes, easy or more challenging… but always accompanied by the unforgettable views over the summits of this UNESCO world natural heritage site.
SWIMMING & SAUNA
It is a wonderful feeling to be able to restore your energy and find tranquillity after a hard day’s activity in the winter world of the Dolomites. The Acquafun adventure pools at Innichen will help you recover and relax, while the Cron4 water and wellness paradise in Reischach near Bruneck is always worth a trip.
The main attraction here is the 2,000 m2 sauna area with a total of 12 different types of sauna and a large outdoor area.
